In 2022, Nigeria witnessed notable advancements for Intellectual Property (IP) protection with legislative and administrative efforts such as the passage of the Copyright Bill by the National Assembly and the validation of the National Intellectual Property Policy and Strategy (NIPPS). On the global front, brand owners proactively exploited and enforced their IP rights in the metaverse.
