On 18 February, 2019, the National Assembly passed the National Housing Fund (Establishment) Bill 2018 (the NHF Bill) which seeks to repeal the National Housing Fund Act, Cap. N45, LFN 2004, and in the main, establish the National Housing Fund.
The Bill contains a number of new and innovative provisions aimed at accelerating housing development in Nigeria which are accordingly examined in this article.
