Chukwuemeka is a partner in the firm. He was formerly a legal assistant with the Oil and Gas Sector Reforms Implementation (Presidential) Committee, where he was involved in the drafting of the Petroleum Industry Bill. He has more than a decade experience spanning oil and gas financing, licensing & regulatory compliance; corporate and project financing, dispute resolution amongst others.

 

He has particular expertise in the negotiation and drafting of oil and gas related agreements such as [Gas Sales and Purchase Agreements, Gas Transportation Agreements, Crude Sale and Purchase Agreements, Crude Handling Agreements, JOAs, CNG and LPG Sales Agreements, EPC Contracts, etc]
He also significant experience in legislative drafting, some of which includes the review of the Framework and Guidelines for Non-Interest Finance Institutions for the CBN; review of Guidelines for the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board as well as the NCDMB Joint Qualification System etc.

 

Chukwuemeka is a member of the Nigerian Gas Association, which is itself a chartered member of the International Gas Union (IGU);
