Ibi is a Partner in the Power and Infrastructure team of the Firm (widely regarded as Nigeria’s flagship power practice). She has amassed several years of cross-disciplinary experience advising on banking and financial regulation, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, insolvency, corporate and commercial law. Ibi has been integral to many of the Firm’s notable transactions in complex project financings, power and infrastructure project developments, power sector advisory, public-private partnerships, concessions, and corporate financings. She routinely provides general corporate commercial advisory to a myriad of clients in various sectors of the economy. Clients have consistently relied on her deep understanding of structuring and implementing power and infrastructure projects, and unique ability to deploy an in-depth legal knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian market in providing innovative transaction structuring. Ibi was a multiple prize winner and the best graduating student of her class at the University of Ibadan.
