Olaniwun Ajayi (UK) LLP, the international arm of leading African law firm, Olaniwun Ajayi, has advised Africa Finance Corporation, Africa’s leading infrastructure solutions provider, on its investment in Lightrock, a global private equity platform, specialising in investments in growth-stage technology-driven companies. The investment, which is in the form of a senior secured term loan facility, will support follow-on investments by Lightrock in high growth portfolio companies in the technology space operating across Africa, including Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria and South Africa.
The Olaniwun Ajayi (UK) LLP team was led by London-based partner, Chuks Ibechukwu, and included London partner, Gabriel Onagoruwa, and London senior associate, Juanita Derex-Briggs.
