Infrastructure & Utilities

Infrastructure and utilities are more than just a sector. They are fundamental drivers of economic, political and social progress across the globe, and particularly in Nigeria. To accomplish your organisation’s strategic ambitions, it’s essential to have a legal partner to keep you in step with regulation and manage your risks. We have facilitated the acquisition of five out of six electricity generation companies and six out of eleven electricity distribution companies.

Having worked for governments and corporate entities on some of the most significant infrastructure projects in Nigeria, we are able to see the big picture. Not only can we advise on projects that are often huge in scale; we help minimise the risk and delays on projects and are able to avoid, and where necessary, resolve the legal, commercial and regulatory issues that arise from these projects.
